BARO Vacuum Chamber

The Vacuum chamber for leak detection was designed and developed on a turnkey, BOTT basis. The main elements and features of the system.

  • Helium leak detector.
  • Vacuumisation and pneumatic system.
  • Test chamber with stainless steel cradle.
  • Mobile loading and unloading platform with linear motion guide rail system.
  • Leak proof door locking mechanism for pressure as well as vacuum.
  • Design as per ASME code.
  • Chamber was tested for pressure of 5 ksc and vaccum of 0.0001 torr.
Planetary Mixer

Built only with the concept as input, this planetary mixer for the blending and homogenisation of explosive materials with very high viscosity is again an indigenous first and representative of engineering at its best.

Safety Features

  • All electrical equipment inside mix house will be flame-proof.
  • All instruments and panels inside mix house shall be ip65.
  • All surfaces in contact with the mix shall be polished to avoid material sticking / builidup.
  • Main housing, bowl and blades are designed to prevent any material accumulation (steps/ recesses avoided).
  • Earthing points for all equipment.
  • Redundancy in critical areas, e.g. bowl in mixing position.
  • Remote operation with CC cameras.
  • IR & UV devices for early detection of anomalies.
  • Convenient working and maintenance platforms.
Isostatic Press

With technical collaboration from overseas partners, SEC manufactured critical components and sub-systems of an isostatic press designed to withstand 2000 bar pressure.

  • High Strength Frame made of S690QL material as per EN 10025-6 standard.
  • High Pressure Forging Vessel Monolithic / shrink fit forged alloy steel pressure cylinder closed with the end flanges and provided with quick opening thread less interrupted groove closures. Material for the fabrication of shrink fitted pressure vessel is SA 723 Grade 3 Steel and it is designed to maintain the working pressure up to 250MPa/ 2500 bar.
  • Integration, Installation, Commissioning and Testing of Isostatic Press at customer’s site.
